We had a severe disruption to our travel plans and the staff at the front desk helped us get our trip back on track. I’ve never had service that kind and helpful. When we left they arranged coffee and a light breakfast to go with. Top marks to them all.

Overlooking the Isle of Wight and the Solent, the 19th-century Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel has an indoor swimming pool, a spa and gym which is open all year round, as well as a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Rooms have views over the courtyards or grounds. The rooms are located in a separate courtyard away from the main manor house, and all have an private bathroom. All rooms also feature a TV and work desk. The Solent Restaurant serves Italian style food. The two bars offer light meals and drinks, and guests can dine on the terrace
